Before he can make sense of these brutal events, Jack's daughter is kidnapped from her school in California. He receives a video that shows her being raped by one of her kidnappers and a voice with a message: come to us or we will send you her head! Jack's shock and dismay quickly turns into a furious rage as he struggles to comprehend who and what is behind this sudden attack on the people close to him. In the end it doesn't matter who they are or their motivation. When they took his daughter, they crossed a line of no return. It's clear someone has declared war on him. And war is something Jack McCoy knows well.
