The solvent used can be recovered by more than 99.5% and can be recycled. Beside this it exhibits unique and desirable properties such as good dry and wet strength, drapeability, lusture, shrink, resistant etc. Fabrics made from Lyocell 'breathe' making them very comfortable to wear. Innovative fibres present new options in fabrics marketing opportunities. All the above factor gave it a higher edge over other fibres. Scientist and technologist are using this fibre to engineer new textile products and study the performance and overall success of this break through process.
