The Tenth Life is a beautiful story to help people handle the loss of an animal family member. An uplifting book told from a cat's perspective to her "owner" minutes before the cat is off to her "tenth life." The cat, Crystal, is insightful, has a sense of humor and shares the wisdom of the next life with her beloved "owner," Foster. Heartwarming gift meant to be shared. It is the thing you do for someone you love when there's nothing you feel you can do to comfort them in their grief. Comforts the recipient and supports the ongoing care of the author's many geriatric rescues. The author has had to say goodbye to many rescues and initially this was written to help her cope. Thank goodness some of her cats shared their secrets. Some of the author's favorite cat quotes are also included. Love always finds love. This book is meant to be a glorified Hallmark card and all money goes to helping the 20+ years of rescue of 125 feral cats by the individual, author Carol Butler, who is NOT a nonprofit. It is what you give someone who has lost an animal family member for comfort. It is VERY short because in grief it was thought no one would want to read a long book, only a comforting one.
