Amaia Arrazola (Vitoria‑Gasteiz, 1984 — Barcelona, 5 de noviembre de 2025) fue una ilustradora, muralista y creadora multidisciplinar española reconocida por su estilo visual vibrante, emotivo y refinado. Estudió Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y al principio trabajó como directora de arte en el sector publicitario. En 2010 se trasladó a Barcelona para dedicarse de lleno a la ilustración freelance, abandonando el mundo de la publicidad para seguir su vocación creativa.

Su obra se caracteriza por una sensibilidad que mezcla lo íntimo y lo urbano, el dibujo editorial y el muralismo de gran formato. Entre sus libros más destacados figuran Wabi Sabi (2018), una obra inspirada en una residencia artística en Japón, El meteorito (2020), que aborda la maternidad, y Totoro y yo (2022), un homenaje al cine de Hayao Miyazaki. Asimismo, llevó a cabo murales en ciudades como Barcelona, Zaragoza y Madrid, colaborando con marcas, instituciones culturales y festivales de arte urbano.

Su estilo visual incluía trazos limpios, una paleta de colores con toques de intensidad, y temáticas que investigaban la identidad, la emoción, la feminidad y la naturaleza. Su muerte a los 41 años conmovió al mundo artístico y editorial, dejando un legado que trasciende los libros y las paredes: su capacidad para conectar vidas, colores y narrativas.
