Pluralism, as we understand it, recognises that distinct traditions offer differing paths toward meaning and moral formation, and with this, they stand on their own terms. When those paths cultivate Love, Mercy, Freedom, and Peace, they contribute to shared human flourishing. The goal of this project is not to collapse differences but to recognise the value of diversity. Varieties of religious expression are natural and necessary, and in the same manner that old technologies become obsolete, so will those forms of religion that no longer serve humanity’s best interests. What ultimately unites us is participation in ways of living that sustain dignity, foster peace, and enable mutual flourishing. It is for these reasons that we choose this path as the foundation for the biblical case for religious pluralism advanced in this work.
