Reseña del libro "A Contrite Heart"

"Justification by Faith", preached by Paul, was not a new concept, as all the Patriarchs in the Old Testament were "Justified by Faith". Father God has always required worship from those He created and from those He formed, as He still requires worship from the Called. Adam was the first man formed to have a special relationship with the Father. The "Garden of Eden" was the first place of worship, but Adam and Eve's sin defiled it. The Sacrifices offered in the Tabernacle and the Temples also failed to restore the relationship between the Father and mankind. Just as the Father had tabernacled with men, everything in the original Tabernacle pointed to Jesus. Jesus came to restore the relationship between mankind and Father God, to bring the "Kingdom of Heaven" to earth, and to rescue mankind from his sin. Jesus opened the way to the Father through the Tomb, where His unblemished sacrificial body was placed on the "Mercy Seat" of the "New Covenant". As our body is a temple not made with hands, fearfully and wonderfully made, believers no longer need a "Temple" to worship the Father, as Paul told the Corinthians: "Don't you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:6 We are the "New Temple", as Habakkuk and King David described Father God's requirements: "The just shall live by his faith," Habakkuk 2:4 and "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart; these, O God, You will not despise." Psalm 51:17 So, enter through the Tomb with "Faith" and a "Contrite heart", as the only "Way" to Father God is open to those of the Called.
