Women go through many seasons of life with the thought, "I wish someone could understand exactly what I am going through." Perimenopause is a season of life the majority of women will experience. This is one of those seasons when women have that aforementioned thought due to an onset of symptoms that can cause a great deal of overwhelming anxiety. Author Cynthia Jennings takes a unique approach and gives readers a glimpse into her journey through perimenopause. The uniqueness of the author's journey stems from her non-clinical but practical and spiritual outlook on navigating this season. Cynthia talks about how confusing, scary, and anxiety-filled the onset of perimenopause was. Early in her journey, Cynthia believed that gaining important clinical information would give her more clarity, instead the clinical research, albeit informative, increased the anxiety. Therefore, she chose to approach this season with the same wisdom she teaches other women in her PEARLS Women's Ministry to deal with challenges in their lives, by using scripture to help find the most practical avenue to accept, balance and navigate any challenge that occurs. This book is written to give women tools to practically and spiritually assist them in navigating the season of perimenopause.
