Andrew O'Hagan (nacido en 1968 en Glasgow, Escocia) es un novelista y ensayista escocés, reconocido por su habilidad para entrelazar ficción y no ficción en sus obras. Ha sido nominado en tres ocasiones al Premio Booker y ha ganado el Premio E.M. Forster de la Academia Estadounidense de Artes y Letras. En 2003, fue seleccionado como uno de los Mejores Jóvenes Novelistas Británicos por la revista Granta.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "Nuestros padres" (1999), "Personalidad" (2003) y "Sé cercano a mí" (2006), todas ellas novelas que exploran la identidad y las relaciones humanas. Su novela "Mayflies" (2020) fue galardonada con el Premio Christopher Isherwood y adaptada en 2022 en una miniserie de la BBC. Su obra más reciente, "Caledonian Road" (2024), profundiza en la corrupción en el Londres contemporáneo a través de una narrativa que recuerda a Dickens y Zola.
