Reseña del libro "Borrowing Time (en Inglés)"
She's running from death. He's sworn to deliver her to it.Clara Miller's greatest scientific breakthrough began as a snack emergency. One minute, she was microwaving a frozen pizza pocket. The next, she'd accidentally invented time travel and a terminal illness with her name on it. With her body deteriorating and the present offering exactly zero cures, Clara makes the only rational choice. She runs to the past. While she's there, she'll find a cure, cross a few items off her historical bucket list, and prove this whole dying thing has been one terrible misunderstanding. Even if it means a devastatingly handsome angel of death, with killer sarcasm, tags along.Silas has collected souls for centuries, but never one who fled the premises before he arrived. Tracking Clara down is one thing. Convincing a stubborn, dying woman to return to the present and politely expire is another. Since Clara refuses to cooperate, Silas is forced into his least favorite assignment yet. Cosmic chaperone. His job is simple. Keep her from changing the past, stop her from dodging death again, and avoid falling for the woman who treats rules like optional guidelines. The more time they spend together, the harder it is to pretend Clara is just another assignment. And the trouble with borrowing time is that eventually, someone comes to collect. When Clara's final moment arrives, she and Silas will have to decide what's more dangerous: changing fate, or accepting a love that was never supposed to happen. This is a standalone romantic comedy with feel-good nostalgia, a goat named Karate, and a side of emotional damage.Tropes: time travel, forced proximity, magical realism, opposites attract, he falls first, slow burn romance, forbidden love, protective hero
