She writes and illustrates fantasy books for young boys. The books are actually her way of keeping important memories alive. She has lost the ability to trust herself, and certainly, trusting others is not something that she can do, ever! When Charley fails to tell Storm that the cabin has a tenant and the place is completely off limits to anyone except Charley and Shiloh (Emily's best friend), Storm makes an unplanned visit to the place that had held such wonderful memories in his youth--and is met with a blast from a shotgun from a stranger on the back porch. The fireworks that are ignited when the two meet threaten to make the range war that is brewing seem rather tame...
