Detective Salvador Diaz is a dedicated Yuma, Arizona detective. His aggressive tactics at pursuing criminals dominated his life enough he neglected his family. He is saddled with a new partner, Detective Maria Mendoza. Her inept, over sensitive ways cause him a lot of anxiety. Only when he is wounded in a shooting does he realize he needs to reassess his life. While lying in the hospital he thinks about ways to get a new partner. Before easing back on his work hours he needs to find and arrest the person or persons trying to kill him. Unable to get a new more experienced partner, will he be able to depend on Detective Maria Mendoza? ### Arizona City or Arizona is the name of the original settlement at the Yuma Crossing, in what is now, Yuma, Arizona. Yuma is located near the borders of California to the west and Mexico to the south. It is noted for its weather extremes.
