El Dr. Blaise Aguirre es experto en psiquiatría infantil, incluyendo psicoterapia y psicofarmacología. Ha trabajado extensamente con niños y sus familias, y es autor y conferenciante sobre diversos aspectos del estado de ánimo, la personalidad y el desarrollo en niños y adolescentes. Es director médico de 3East en el Hospital McLean, afiliado a Harvard, un programa de atención continua que utiliza terapia dialéctica conductual (TDC) para jóvenes con conductas autolesivas y rasgos limítrofes de la personalidad. Ha sido psiquiatra de planta en el Hospital McLean desde el año 2000. Es profesor adjunto de psiquiatría en la Facultad de Medicina de Harvard y reside en Lexington, Massachusetts, con su esposa y sus cuatro hijos.
