Reseña del libro "Epperson Ancestors, Volume Two (en Inglés)"

Epperson Ancestors, Volume One and Volume Two trace one branch of the Epperson family and the families they married into - immigrants from France, England, Germany, Scotland, Switzerland, and Ireland. Volume One begins in the 1550s with Jean Louis de Nogaret de La Valette, Duc d'Épernon, and follows his grandson, John Vallette Epernon, to America in 1675, where the name was anglicized to Epperson by the next generation. It covers eight generations of American Eppersons who married into the Perault, Chastain, Holland, Divers, Meador, Greer, Hire, Hause, and Stookey families.Epperson Ancestors, Volume Two follows the Epperson, Poe, Sellers, George, Witt, Sherer, Buzzard, DeBrosse, Hummel, LaVelle, and Conrey families. It opens in Missouri just before the Civil War with Aphrey and Elizabeth (Hire) Epperson of the eighth generation. Their youngest son, George Washington Epperson, became a shrewd businessman; a dispute with his brother, Martin, over family land carried the two of them all the way to the Missouri Supreme Court.
