1969-1974 were the years from Woodstock to Watergate. These years marked a changing time in the USA when a small but determined brotherhood of young entrepreneurs embarked on a different kind of mission: to deliver quality herb to the hungry market of US consumers. This was a period when marijuana seemed truly innocent and many believed it was only a matter of time before it would become legal. The life of Peter "Rabbit" seems to play out like a soundtrack to the 70s. Like many in those years, Rabbit gets his start in the trade doing favors for friends, keeping them supplied with good weed. Suddenly, a series of events takes him from "being the man" to becoming a fugitive on the run. In 1974, Rabbit invests in Ibis II, a beautiful 46 ft NY 32 wooden racing sloop built in 1937. Ibis had an impeccable pedigree which the NY Yacht Club will vouch for today. Rabbit, Ibis, and their two-man crew embark on a voyage of endurance and survival almost too incredible to believe.
