This Grammar Booklet has been designed as an accompaniment to German Sentence Builders - TRILOGY - Part 1. It is divided into 15 units, each with a matching Sentence Builder from the main Trilogy book.Each unit focuses on one Main Grammar Focus, which is explained and then taught via an array of engaging Conti, EPI, vocab building, translation and writing tasks. There are also a number of Pop-up Grammar sections to teach other key elements required for linguistic proficiency. Assessment Rounds feature at the end of each unit, to help assess the learning of the grammar points covered.Some of the activities included are:  Match-up  Break the flow  Faulty translation  Slalom translation  Tangled translation  Gap-fill activities  Oral Ping Pong  No Snakes No Ladders  Fast & Furious These tasks and games are devised so as to scaffold understanding and the ability to produce the target language correctly by gradually moving from highly structured tasks to semi-structured ones. Every grammatical structure in this book is included in the new GCSE specification. For best results, we recommend using this book to use in conjunction with the EPI approach.Please note that both The Language Gym and Sentence Builders websites are ideal supplements to the TRILOGY series. Both websites recycle every single lexical and structural item found in the Sentence Builder books many times over via self-marking vocabulary and reading workouts, in addition to engaging and fun games and a powerful verb trainer.
