This book is an interpretation of the intentions, actions and policies of two presidents that I witnessed their rulership while I was a student in Indonesia. As an African I was fortunate to experience democracy and the rule of law under the SBY leadership. It was a wonderful experience. Then came the Jokowi era where I noticed early signs of African-style totalitarianism and incompetence. This book also explains why young promising politicians like Anas Urbaningrum, Andy and Anggie found themselves in Prison. It explains the role played by the naive head of the anti graft committee (KPK) Abraham Samad and explores Jokowi's political future. This book was written September 2009 and March 2015 and a majority of the things predicted during this period, occurred before the publication of this book. This book is part of the Indonesian history written by a neutral person without any interest in Indonesian party politics. It will remain useful to Indonesian students, politicians, diplomats, foreigners and people wishing to invest in Indonesia for the next 100 years.
