Reseña del libro "Line Six (en Inglés)"

The first call came from a woman trapped in a burning building.

There was only one problem. The fire hadn’t started yet.

Nora has spent years working as a 911 dispatcher. She’s heard just about everything, but nothing prepares her for the call that comes through on a phone line that shouldn’t even be connected.

The woman on the other end is terrified. She gives Nora an address, begs her to send help, and then the line goes dead.

Eleven minutes later, the fire starts.

At first, Nora thinks there’s been some kind of technical mistake. Then another call comes through. And another. Each one warns of something that hasn’t happened yet.

As Nora searches for answers, the calls lead her back to a tragedy that devastated her town seventeen years earlier. The official story never quite added up, and some people have gone to great lengths to keep it that way.

Now the warnings are getting worse, and Nora is running out of time to figure out who’s calling, why they’re calling her, and what really happened all those years ago.

Because the next disaster won’t just take a few lives. It could destroy the entire town.
