Reseña del libro "Little Chick, Big Farm (en Inglés)"
Limsley Farm is very big. Dot the chick is very small.Dot is curious about everything, and sometimes a little scared of it, too. Mama Hattie the hen has one rule: stay close. But when a shiny green grasshopper hops past Dot's toes, she follows it hop by hop into the tall grass, and she does not see the hawk. Mama Hattie does. And Mama Hattie's voice comes out huge.Dot hides. She thinks Mama is mad. Then Mama Hattie gets down low and tells her the truth: that was not a mad voice. That was her safety voice, the one a mama uses when there is danger and a chick needs to listen right away. They can sound the same on the outside.Little Chick, Big Farm is a warm, funny, big-hearted picture book for ages 4 to 8 about a small chick learning three big things: that the world has a few dangers and a plan makes them smaller, that a loud voice from someone who loves you is not always an angry one, and that staying close is her job while watching is Mama's.
