Chris Claremont (Londres, 25 de noviembre de 1950) es un guionista de cómics y novelista estadounidense, reconocido por su influyente trabajo en la serie "Uncanny X-Men" de Marvel Comics. Durante su gestión de 16 años (1975-1991), transformó la serie en una de las más vendidas a nivel mundial. Claremont es conocido por desarrollar personajes femeninos fuertes e introducir temas literarios complejos en las narrativas de superhéroes.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "La Imposible Patrulla-X: Días del Futuro Pasado" (1981), género: cómic de superhéroes, y "Los Nuevos Mutantes: La Saga del Oso Místico" (1984), género: cómic de superhéroes.
