His creation, Moods of a Lake, not only showcases his skillful talents a poet, but also his artistic sensibilities in directing Ms. Jingfang Wang, to produce a black and white series of nearly impressionistic images that he integrated with his poems. The result has been the fashioning of a synergistic marriage of diametrically opposed media that, together, provide a rich and powerful impact. The blending of all these elements yields multidimensional poems having greater depth and breadth.     He believes in vicarious thrills. A good artist sees what others see and creates a unique version of it. A great artist draws one into their version to see it from another set of eyes. He aspires to that latter goal.     If you appreciate the challenge of mentally engaging ambiguities and implied deeper messages, all combined with his visual art, then you will love this book.
