Natural Risk Assessment and Emergency Management of The Maritime Silk Road (en Inglés) - Ren Zhang

This book aims at the new opportunities, development connotation, problems and potential risks of the Maritime Silk Road in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), as well as the problems of insufficient case samples, incomplete assessment information, uncertain decision-making knowledge, etc., Some new methods and technical such as dynamic Bayesian networks, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, group decision-making, information flow, are introduced to build an indicator system and mathematical model for risk assessment and emergency management. Aim at the impacts and hazards of extreme weather such as tropical cyclones, strong winds, waves, low visibility, and rising sea levels in the sea area along the Maritime Silk Road, research are conducted on risk assessment and emergency management of disaster environment such as geographical environmental characteristics, climate change scenarios, islands, straits and ports. This book can be used as a reference for researchers in the fields of atmosphere, ocean, environmental ecology, transportation, natural resources, disaster prevention and reduction, emergency management, and related university teachers.
