The author skillfully uses her words to weave this story and incorporates various circumstances and unimaginable challenges in the characters' lives. Most apparent, is that she reveals that everyone doesn't always have the "happy ending" the reader may expect. But by leaning on God, and through prayer and determination, the characters are able to overcome some of the most horrific situations. This book is a page-turner and has very entertaining characters! It will definitely make you laugh, cry, cheer, and shake your head in utter disbelief at the many challenges the characters face when life hits them hard. Get ready to hold on as you go along with the characters down the many, windy, and bumpy roads of life filled with unexpected treacherous turns. And just when you think you have figured out what will happen next, something else extraordinary occurs.
