Reseña del libro "Pastor Stop Fleecing the Flock (en Inglés)"
This book addresses one of the most fundamental aspects of Christian teaching - money, albeit in a revolutionary way. Writing from a conviction born out of an encounter with Christ, the author drives into the topic of money with a rational yet scriptural precision.Pastor Nganga looks at the disarray of money matters in the church engendered by man's needs and questions their fidelity to the Scriptures. He brings to the fore the idolatry generated by money and greed in the church and compares it to the identical phenomenon of the temple in Jesus' day.The author clearly shows what true prosperity is and what it is not, and contrary to popular opinion, he proves that neither Jesus nor his disciples were rich, balancing it with the fact that the Scripture is not against wealth. The author debunks the erroneous teaching of seed offering and the many dangers and excesses that shroud it. Hard work, wisdom, and God's blessing of increase continue to produce desired results. The book calls for an urgent rethinking of the place of money in the church and ends with a rebuke and a warning to the clergy and the laity to remain faithful to the Gospel and Scripture.A mirror for ministers to look at and reconsider their ways, an enlightenment for believers to know what God says about money and prosperity, and a chain cutter for letting loose financial shackles, this book is a rooftop's shout of what many are saying in whispers. No moment of boredom or dullness in this book. Outrightly scriptural, pragmatic, and revolutionary. A must-read.
