Four centuries ago, Magnus was cast out from his Viking village for a "curse" he didn't ask for: eyes like the midday sky and a life that refused to end. Driven by celestial visions he barely understands, Magnus has spent an eternity wandering the earth's most distant corners.

From the fjords of Norway to the sun-scorched savannas of Africa, and across the vast ocean to a land the world has yet to discover, Magnus has been a warrior, a healer, and a ghost in the shadows of history. But the gods are not finished with him. As his purpose is slowly revealed through fragments of fire and light, Magnus realizes his wandering was never aimless. Every step, every heartache, and every century has been leading him back to where it all began: the White Stone City in the Gulf.
