The Christmas Angel (en Inglés) - Abbie Farwell Brown

Miss Terry, a solitary and cynical woman, dismisses the joy of Christmas Eve as sentimental humbug. To prove her point, she unearths a box of her childhood toys-including a broken Jack-in-the-box, a battered Noah’s ark, and a faded doll named Miranda-and tosses them into the snowy streets to test human nature. Instead of sparking the greed she expects, each discarded toy embarks on a surprising journey that brings unexpected joy, healing, and comfort to the city’s poorest residents. When a magical Christmas Angel emerges to reveal the true fate of these cast-offs, Miss Terry is forced to confront her own bitter heart. This timeless tale explores whether the Angel’s gentle lessons can reunite her with her estranged brother Tom and open her home to a lonely orphan before Christmas morning.
