Reseña del libro "The Science of Generational Drama (en Inglés)"
Humanity has survived ice ages, plagues, famines, wars, political revolutions, economic depressions, industrial accidents, questionable medical treatments, and the invention of reality television, but it has never successfully resolved the fundamental disagreement between old people and young people over which group is responsible for ruining everything. The argument appears to have begun shortly after the development of language, when an elderly prehistoric gentleman emerged from his cave, observed several younger members of the tribe experimenting with a newly invented wheel, and announced that civilization was finished because nobody wanted to drag heavy objects across the ground anymore. The younger members undoubtedly responded that the old man was completely out of touch, technologically illiterate, and responsible for the tribe's continuing dependence on rocks. Somebody probably accused somebody else of being lazy, a parent threatened to take away the wheel, and a grandparent recalled the glorious days when everybody carried dead animals home without expecting transportation assistance. Thus began the most enduring disagreement in human history, a conflict that would eventually produce political movements, advertising campaigns, workplace seminars, family counseling appointments, and approximately fourteen million internet arguments about whether younger people understand the meaning of hard work.
