The Shape Of Almost (en Inglés) - Michelle Bautista-Parreno

’The Shape of Almost is a collection of ten contemporary literary short stories about unfinished relationships, missed possibilities, quiet endings, and the truths we recognize only after we are ready to face them.

Divided into three parts-Before We Admitted the Truth, The People We Become to Survive, and What Stayed After-the collection explores the many forms of almost: the relationships that never fully become what we hoped, the people we become while trying to hold on, and the pieces of ourselves that remain when something ends.

Each story is followed by a reflective piece that invites readers to look beyond the narrative and consider its deeper emotional truth.

At its heart, The Shape of Almost is about recognition-the moment we understand that not everything we lose was a mistake, and that even unfinished stories can change us.

Every almost leaves a shape.

And every shape tells a story.
