The law stood side by side with the hooded vigilantes and refused to uphold the law in many small southern communities. As we look back on the lives and deaths of three men in the height of the racially divided south of the 1950s and 60s. Let's keep in mind that with these three deaths so many learned how to live. The world sees these men as victims, but in these pages they are Martyrs.
