Reseña del libro "Three Days of Night (When the Gods Fell) (en Inglés)"

The ninth plague is not a storm. It is a silence. A darkness falls over Egypt that can be felt — a thick, suffocating black that no lamp can pierce and no prayer can lift. For three days the sun does not rise, and the land that worshipped the sun god is left blind, groping, and afraid. Only in the houses of the Hebrews does a light still burn. The story is told through the witnesses who lived through the dark. Merit and Shira, the record-keepers, write by the last of their oil and wonder if the light will ever return. Nefira shelters the children in her care and tells them stories to keep the fear at bay. Menna, the Egyptian officer, stumbles through a city he can no longer see and confronts the god he has served all his life. And Hori, the charioteer, sits in the blackness and counts the cost of a loyalty he can no longer feel. As the three days stretch on, each of them must face what the darkness reveals — about Egypt, about their gods, and about themselves. Because the darkness did not hide the truth. It exposed it.
