Reseña del libro "University of Life (en Inglés)"
ONE TEENAGE GIRL. ONE ERROR OF JUDGEMENT. TWO DETECTIVES ON THE CASE. A SHED LOAD OF TROUBLE AND BULLETS.It's July 1997. Tony Blair is our fresh-faced PM, Diana's holiday snaps are front page news and people's idea of a smartphone is one that comes with a calculator. After a pile-up on the M1 leads to the death of his couriers and the theft of a suitcase filled with cocaine, London crime boss Eddie Daniels sends his best men up to Leicester to bring it back.University freshman Chloe Holmes calls her mother the same evening. She was involved in the crash, and in a moment of panic grabbed the suitcase and is now on the run.Chloe's mother calls upon ex-husband Bobby - a former cop turned muscle-for-hire - to find her and bring her home, but having been an absent father, Bobby turns to Chloe's love-struck ex-boyfriend Joe, a Private Investigator, for help. And so begins a race to see who can find Chloe first: Two men who love her dearly, or a blood-thirsty maniac whose favourite pastimes are torture and hard drugs.A BLEND OF DETECTIVE FICTION AND BUDDY COMEDY, UNIVERSITY OF LIFE IS A FAST-PACED, FUNNY AND ACTION-PACKED TALE ABOUT FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP AND DODGING BULLETS.
