God's eternal covenants with Israel will be fulfilled at first through a very small anointed remnant in the last days. They are referred to in scripture by God himself with terms such as the "branch of my planting" (Is. 60:21), the "people I have formed for myself" (Is. 43:21), a "plant of renown" (Ez. 34:29), etc. Their remnant will eventually be recognized as leadership in service to Jesus Christ by other believers in a final generation who proceed into the Kingdom.
