Lizzy couldn't fight the continuous feelings of loneliness and uncertainties about the future, wondering where is God in this. However, in the new novel by author Patricia Hartmann, Lonesome Mountain, Lizzy's seeking of spiritual help comes when she is given an inheritance of her late great-aunt's farm in Northern California. With no other options, Lizzy decides to accept the offer and reopen the farm, while revisiting that memorable summer on the farm that separated her from her great-aunt. The deteriorating farmhouse and farm causes Lizzy to call for help, especially that of a handyman who is raising a daughter alone. Surprising things continue to happen, even the possibility of drug activity in the small town, within a story of faith, romance and family.
